Mission

In 2019 I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AAAI/ISMA Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Group Fitness and Kickboxing Instructor. I've always loved sports and fitness. As a young girl I ran cross country, participated in track and field, and was on the netball, rounders and handball team. I loved going to fitness classes and working out at the gym. Fitness was always so easily a priority in my life. Then when I became a Mom it filled my heart and my world and it became very easy and convenient to put my fitness on the back burner. I did the odd class here and there, but there was zero committment or consistencey.

After my Mom passed away in 2017 from Parkinson's disease, a neurological movement disorder and Alzheimer's disease, a neurocognitive disease, I found my way to train for a half marathon which became my therapy and outlet for grief. After that I found my way to strength training and I loved feeling strong and I came to realize that I needed fitness in my life consistently because it made me better both physically and mentally. Losing my mom to these diseases also made me want to know more about mental health and how it's directly linked to nutrition and what we eat and our physical health.

Vision

My passion is to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle, to enjoy fitness and make it a lifestyle not a chore. Everybody is unique, with their own strengths and limitations. My method is to build a custom plan based on your health, schedule and more importantly, fitness goals. I aim to help you on your fitness journey and achieve your health goals and influence and inspire you to make more mindful decisions when it comes to your health.

We'll focus on the 8 pillars of wellbeing. Always trying to find and maintain balance. It's hard! But the alternitive is hard too, maybe harder. And if you're here then you're for progress and you're in it to keep trying and to keep improving and to keep working, and we're half way there right from the start!
